We have great volunteer opportunities available to make the most of your expertise, energy and enthusiasm. Whether you're looking for an ongoing opportunity, special project, or internship, we have an opportunity for you! Volunteering is a great way to gain experience, serve your community and have fun.

In 2005, caring people contributed 1,984 hours of service (valued at nearly $34,829) to their neighbors and community through their YWCA volunteer work.

How to Apply

1. Review the position description for the position(s) that interest you. Click on Volunteer Opportunities or Internship Opportunities for brief descriptions. The full position descriptions follow in PDF format.

2. Complete an application form.

3. We will review your application and contact you to set up an interview.
Because we work with vulnerable populations and confidential information, we conduct criminal background checks and reference checks on all our volunteers. This process takes one to two weeks. If you are placed, you can expect to begin volunteering shortly after that.
