2006 Highlights
Another Great Year!In 2006, over 6,000 people benefited from YWCA programs, services, and events including its health and wellness services,supportive housing, long-term mentoring, childcare, youth development programs, volunteer services, and community programming.
Commitment to Community:
The YWCA works with over 350 schools, community and government agencies, service providers, businesses, and funding sources in the delivery of our programs. We are proud to contribute to the collective knowledge of issues affecting women, children and families through participation in 150 advisory boards, coalitions, task forces, advisory bodies, professional and service organizations.
Community Support:
The YWCA greatly appreciates the many donations and awards we received from generous individuals, foundations, government agencies, corporations, and community groups. In 2006, over 266 caring people contributed 5,131 hours of service (valued at over $92,563) to their neighbors and community through their YWCA volunteer work.

Annual Report
In 2006, more than 6,000 people were served through YWCA serivces. Our programs in youth development, housing and supportive services, health and fitness, and our newest program are, employment and training for young adults, all help to make our community a better place for women, children and families. We collaborated with over 300 organizations and service providers to ensure YWCA participatns access to a full range of quality services, and created partnerships that strengthen our community.
