A Century of Achievment
Buildings and faces may have changed, but the traditions continue. More than 100 years after our founding, the YWCA St. Paul is still a place for women, children and families to call home.
Recent Milestone
This December, Ramsey County's emergency shelters were at capacity and familes had to be turned away. In response, Ramsey County approached YWCA St. Paul to participate in a Rapid Rehousing Project. The goal: work in the shelters to identify families who with some supportive services and a 4-month rent subsidy, could maintain their rent and responsibilities. With less than 30 days to work, YWCA staff successfully identified and transitioned 19 families out of shelters and into housing!
YWCA Case Managers will continue working with the families to ensure they are receiving supportive services needed to maintain their stability.
